For international clients who prefer messaging over email, WhatsApp works well for initial contact and ongoing project communication. WhatsApp also supports document sharing (photos, plans, specifications) which makes project communication more efficient than email for visual materials.

Costa Rica is in Central Standard Time (UTC-6) year-round (no daylight saving). For clients in:
- U.S. Eastern time: 1 hour behind during standard time, 2 hours during daylight saving
- U.S. Pacific time: 2 hours ahead during standard time, 1 hour during daylight saving
- Central Europe: 7-8 hours ahead depending on season
We accommodate calls in your time zone — early morning or late afternoon Costa Rica time works for European clients; standard business hours work for U.S. clients.
Currency and Pricing
Project pricing is provided in Costa Rican Colones (CRC) and/or U.S. Dollars (USD) depending on the project and client preference. Material costs are typically referenced in USD for international clients to facilitate budget planning.
Payment Methods
Standard payment methods accepted including bank transfer (wire), check, and credit card for smaller transactions. For international clients, U.S. dollar wire transfers are common. Specific payment terms are detailed in project proposals.
Customs and Imports (For Special Orders)
For special-order products from international manufacturers (TimberTech from AZEK in the United States, Parador from Germany, Loom+ from South Korea), we manage all customs and import procedures. Lead times include manufacturing, international shipping, and customs clearance in Costa Rica.
Privacy of Your Inquiry
Information you share with us about your project — property location, intended use, timeline, budget — is confidential. We don’t share project information with third parties, don’t sell contact information, and don’t include your project in marketing materials without explicit permission.
